Job summary

Stantec seeks an Owner’s Representative at the Project Manager level to manage healthcare projects on behalf of owners in Central and Eastern Long Island, NY. Projects span concept through construction with total costs over $500 million and require on-site supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating budgets, schedules, and teams; managing RFPs, contracts, and client communications; and supporting commissioning and closeout activities across design, construction, and occupancy phases.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Owner’s Representative on healthcare sector projects.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Understanding of preconstruction and project development processes.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects valued over $100M, including renovations, maintenance, and new builds.
• Coordinate resource gathering and site information for effective planning.
• Develop strategic program aligned with schedule and budget with client.
• Prepare RFPs, select vendors, and negotiate contracts as required.
• Oversee design, construction, occupancy, and closeout phases for the client.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and communicate with client and project team.
