Job summary

Stantec seeks an Owner’s Representative, at the Project Manager level, to manage healthcare projects from concept to completion. You will travel to client sites, supervise on site, and coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

Based in the client office with local site travel, this full-time role requires 7-10 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in MS Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Owner’s Representative in project management on healthcare sector projects.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and manage preconstruction processes.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects valued over $100M, including renovations, maintenance, and new builds.
• Coordinate site information and resources for project execution.
• Develop and align conceptual program with schedule and budget.
• Assemble project team via RFPs, advise on awards, and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee project teams through design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and align with client goals.
• Review designs for adherence to schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, track, and forecast project schedule and budget.
• Administer contracts and invoices for the client.
• Anticipate issues and guide major project decisions.
• Coordinate commissioning and financial closeout efforts.
• Maintain respect and confidence of the project team.
