Parkland Health is seeking a coordinated Planning, Design and Construction support professional in Rhode Island to assist in managing design and construction projects from concept through completion. The role focuses on owner-representative project management, budgeting, scheduling, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and facilities teams.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of PM support experience, with preference for healthcare

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, business or a related field.
• One (1) year of project management support experience in construction/design with owner representation.
• Preference for hospital project management experience in large acute care settings.
• May substitute education/experience with an equivalent combination.
• Must learn applicable laws and regulations for healthcare construction.

Responsabilités

• Support PDC Program Managers in overall program management as owner representative.
• Assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling and safety/quality goals for projects.
• Contribute to vendor/consultant selection and contract negotiations.
• Maintain positive relationships with management, vendors, architects, and end users.
• Assist in implementing PDC tools and data systems for project management.
