Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare facility design and engineering. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through renovations, expansions, and new facility projects, balancing patient care, regulatory compliance, schedules, and budgets.

The PM is responsible for managing scope, schedule, and cost per client contracts, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a discipline/task lead required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Project Management or related experience/field preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in Engineering Design preferred.
• Licensure by the applicable State Board of Technical Professions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and make business decisions on projects from opportunity identification through project completion.
• Manage project scope, cost, and schedule for planning, execution, and delivery.
• Lead project teams through pre-contract phase and develop fee proposals and budgets.
• Assemble project team with supervisor approval and manage flow for all disciplines.
• Provide direction to project team to keep all activities on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate risks and risk management strategies to clients and project teams.
• Lead forecasting estimates and monitor progress to complete projects.
• Maintain professional client communications and manage expectations with PEC stakeholders.
