The position requires strong project management, scheduling, budget planning, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical and support teams in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred or equivalent experience
  • PTCB/NHA Certification required
  • Knowledge of EPIC and Pyxis ES preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operational and personnel issues
  • Prepares and manages staff schedules
  • Manages departmental projects to achieve goals, maintains regulatory compliance, enhances quality, improves patient safety and optimizes operational efficiency
  • Schedules and leads department and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Supervises direct report staff including hiring decisions, disciplinary actions and annual performance appraisals
  • Optimizes utilization of Pyxis equipment
  • Develops and independently implements new or revised program goals, strategies and objectives
  • Performs needs assessments and analyzes community needs for program development
  • Develops and schedules a program work plan and oversees daily operations
  • Prepares budget proposals and establishes a budget control system
  • Prepares proposals for funding
  • Represents the Program to the public and stakeholders
  • Provides technical advice and problem solving
  • Prepares periodic reports and evaluates program effectiveness
  • Reviews applications to determine acceptance
