Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Program Manager II to support department leadership and oversee large or complex programs to meet established objectives, timelines, and budgets. Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operational and personnel issues.
Prepares and manages staff schedules.
Manage departmental projects to achieve goals and maintain regulatory compliance; enhance quality and patient safety.
Schedules and leads department and interdisciplinary meetings.
Supervises direct report staff including hiring decisions and performance appraisals.
Optimize utilization of Pyxis equipment.
Develops and implements program goals and strategies to sustain growth.
Performs needs assessments and analyzes community needs for program development.
Develops a program work plan and oversees daily operations; prioritizes and delegates work.
Prepares budget proposals and establishes a budget control system.
