Job summary

AdventHealth in Trion, GA seeks an experienced administrative leader to manage multiple physician practices and achieve high quality patient care. You will supervise staff, coordinate new practice starts, ensure credentialing, and monitor budgets while maintaining policy compliance and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical technology and terminology.
• Knowledge of front office tasks and systems.
• Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
• Skilled in customer service.
• Skilled in interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Skilled in organization with multiple tasks/deadlines.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic planning and management.
• Experience in finance and accounting for department budgets.
• Knowledge of hospital/physician billing and insurance collection.
• Knowledge of physician coding and regulations; etc.
• Supervisory experience in hospital/medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner assuring high quality care.
• Oversees start-up of new physician practices and credentialing activities.
• Coordinates, monitors, and improves operations of each practice.
• Coordinates hiring, conducts performance evaluations, and provides coaching.
• Provides orientation for new employees and ensures policy compliance.
• Maintains job descriptions and completes staff evaluations.
• Participates in operating, salary, and capital budgets.
• Schedules, assigns duties, and ensures department coverage.
• Reviews policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develops policies governing patient quality of life and care.
• Evaluates programs affecting teamwork.
• Oversees revenue cycle management and coding for clean claims.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
