Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Administrative Manager to lead and optimize multiple physician practices. You will oversee operations, credentialing, staff performance, and budgeting, ensuring top-quality patient care and compliant processes across departments.

Required are a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience in a physician practice setting, with strong knowledge of revenue cycle and EHR systems. BLS certification preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Manage offices cost-effectively ensuring staff provide high-quality care in a courteous atmosphere
• Oversee startup of new physician practices and credentialing activities
• Coordinate operations, flow, training, staffing and oversight of provider practices
• Coordinate hiring, conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and discipline per policy
• Provide orientation for new employees and ensure policy compliance
• Maintain current job descriptions and staff competency; conduct evaluations
• Assist in operating, salary, and capital budgets; ensure budget adherence
• Supervise and schedule staff; ensure department coverage
• Review policies for regulatory compliance and update as needed
• Develop and implement policies governing patient quality of life and care
• Evaluate effectiveness of programs and processes; oversee revenue cycle management
• Perform other duties as assigned
