Job summary

Community Health Rutland is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the main clinic's daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to policies. The role emphasizes personnel management, scheduling, and coordinating care delivery to provide high-quality, cost-effective services.

You will align operations with accreditation standards, manage facilities, and support a team delivering primary care and behavioral health in Rutland, Vermont.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; health or business administration preferred.
• Five years of operational management experience.
• Knowledge of fiscal management practices and HR techniques.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Selects, hires, trains, coach, and counsel personnel as required to ensure efficient and effective office work.
• Manages and coordinates all staff/provider schedules.
• Supports and upholds policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
• Coordinates day to day operations at the sites.
• Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness and modifying activities, as necessary.
