Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Senior Quality Improvement Leader to advance performance improvement across ambulatory and hospital operations. You will guide process redesign, measurement, and data-driven decision making with a calm, professional approach.

You will lead interdisciplinary projects, coach teams, and implement tools for data collection, analytics, and EHR-enhanced quality initiatives, in collaboration with leadership and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Requires 3 years' experience cumulatively in health care, clinical quality improvement, project management, or related fields.
• Certificate in health care quality, patient safety or project management preferred and is required within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance improvement efforts and coach teams in developing performance improvement capabilities with emphasis on process redesign and measurement.
• Plan and lead moderately complex interdisciplinary projects with on-time delivery and resource coordination.
• Apply quality frameworks, methodologies, and data analysis to achieve optimal outcomes; analyze and display clinical data.
• Use analytical thinking and statistical process control to improve quality, value, and clinical outcomes.
• Lead department and performance improvement meetings; analyze trends, maintain action plans, and follow up metrics.
• Develop content for communication to diverse audiences; promote cross-departmental collaboration and share findings with stakeholders.
• Research and implement best practice strategies to improve processes and outcomes; mentor colleagues.
• Develop and deliver educational materials and training programs for varied audiences.
