Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a seasoned Quality Improvement professional to lead and support performance improvement initiatives across clinical and non-clinical processes. You will consult with teams, facilitate discussions, collect and analyze data, and develop action plans to improve care quality and cost-effectiveness.

You will generate interpretive reports, design studies to identify variations in medical management, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in health care, clinical quality improvement.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical concepts, and disease management.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, facilitation, and data support to performance improvement teams.
• Lead and facilitate teams with process owners.
• Support literature searches, data collection, and benchmarking.
• Develop and evaluate action plans to achieve cost-effective, high quality care.
• Develop interpretive performance improvement reports for committees and leadership.
• Design clinical studies to identify variations in medical management.
• Monitor activities to promote regulatory compliance and ISO 9001.
• Support physician and advanced practice clinician peer review.
• Participate in ongoing educational offerings to stay current.
