Talentify is seeking a PBX Operator for our healthcare client in Long Beach, CA. You will deliver top-notch customer service, handle calls, direct inquiries, and use PBX systems and Epic for patient registration while upholding HIPAA standards.

Requirements include at least 6 months in a hospital or call center, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese is preferred to support diverse patients and staff.

Qualifikationen

• Six months or more experience as an operator in a hospital or call center.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service and positive work ethic.
• General computer skills including EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to multitask and interact positively.

• Provide excellent customer service using PBX and clinical protocols.
• Answer, direct, and route calls professionally and promptly.
• Monitor faxes and patient admissions in Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Assist Public Safety with emergency procedures and paging.
• Document emergency codes and patient identifiers accurately.
