The UMH Sparrow Health System is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage processing and timely delivery of payroll for caregivers, ensuring compliance with IRS and FLSA rules. You will work with in-house timekeeping and payroll systems to calculate and remit accurate withholdings and deductions.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of progressive payroll experience, familiarity with automated HR/payroll platforms such as Infor/Lawson and Kronos, and strong Excel and customer service skills.

Formación

• Three or more years of progressive payroll experience.
• Experience with automated timekeeping and HR/Payroll systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal payroll and reporting requirements.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; strong customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Process payroll according to policies and wage laws.
• Maintain caregiver master files and deductions.
• Provide support to timekeepers and caregivers on timekeeping systems.
• Respond to employment verifications and information requests.
• Back-up for other team members; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
