Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, is seeking a payroll and HR support professional to maintain accurate payroll transactions and benefits records.

You will review timesheets, handle deductions, respond to employee inquiries, and collaborate with HRIS specialists while safeguarding confidentiality. Associates or higher preferred; 3–5 years clerical experience in HR/payroll; vaccination is required for employees in this role.

Formación

• High school graduate or GED equivalent; associates or higher preferred.
• Requires 3–5 years of progressive clerical experience with demonstrated ability to maintain a high volume of records and accurately post information.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills, particularly with highly confidential matters.

Responsabilidades

• Review timesheets and attendance records to identify and correct inaccuracies, process changes to tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments, and oversee payroll transactions and related reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records; establish and process employee deductions and improve payroll efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel and benefits records; respond to employee inquiries regarding earnings, deductions, and taxes; collaborate with HRIS Analysts on issues and projects.
