Qualifications

• Minimum experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Manager.
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and payroll practices.
• Familiarity with payroll legislation and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with payroll software such as ADP.
• Trustworthy with confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on hours worked for each employee.
• Calculate pay including overtime, deductions, bonuses with computer system.
• Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel electronically or on paper.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Keep track of hourly rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information.
• Address payroll questions from employees and superiors.
• Prepare reports for upper management and finance.
