Crowne Health Care is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk / Accounts Payable / Bookkeeper to support our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatrics. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and confidentiality in handling payroll, billing, and financial records.

Candidates should have prior skilled nursing facility billing and insurance experience, with Medicaid processing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with skilled nursing facility billing and insurance processing required
• Proficient with Medicaid applications and processing insurance approvals
• Experience in payroll, accounts payable, bookkeeping or healthcare administrative work

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies
• Process accounts payable and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform bookkeeping and general accounting support for the facility
• Assist with skilled nursing facility billing and insurance processes
• Complete and follow up on Medicaid applications
• Process and track insurance approvals and related documentation
• Maintain organized and accurate financial and administrative records
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
• Provide administrative and financial support to facility leadership
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, resident, and financial information
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
