AdaptHealth is seeking an Operations Specialist to support patient care and drive operational excellence. You will help optimize workflows, verify insurance, and manage patient data in EMR systems while ensuring compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare administration, billing, or insurance is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Support regional operations through workflow improvement and process optimization.
• Review and process documentation including insurance verification and authorizations.
• Navigate EMR systems to enter, track, and validate patient and authorization data.
• Analyze workflows to identify errors and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Maintain HIPAA, PPE, and infection control standards while delivering care and equipment.
