Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona seeks a Physician Practice Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at a Primary Care clinic. You will supervise non-physician staff, optimize workflows, and coordinate scheduling, payroll, HR functions, and supply management to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• May require Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or current LPN license.
• Requires at least two years of experience in a physician's office or medical environment.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required at hire.
• Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of non-physician staff.
• Schedule staff and coordinate payroll and HR-related tasks.
• Oversee reception, scheduling, medical records, transcription and related areas.
• Liaise between staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain office policies and procedures per physician and regulatory requirements.
• Determine facility maintenance needs and coordinate repairs.
• Cover front and back office functions as needed.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and manage competing priorities.
