Job summary

Banner Health seeks an experienced Physician Practice Supervisor to co-supervise day-to-day clinic operations in a fast-paced Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics setting in Glendale/ Phoenix. You will mentor staff, drive quality improvement, and ensure alignment with Banner Health policies and values.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree; two years in a physician’s office or medical environment.
• May require certification as Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or current LPN license.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if in a Behavioral Health setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of non-physician staff and monitor productivity.
• Coach, train, evaluate staff and schedule appropriately.
• Oversee reception, scheduling, medical records, transcription, and related functions.
• Liaise between staff and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care and service.
• Maintain office policies in line with physician requirements and regulatory standards.
