Banner Health seeks a Physician Practice Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations of the Neurology-Arcadia group. The role blends patient care with people leadership, ensuring efficient workflows, staffing, scheduling, and adherence to policies.

Based in Scottsdale with occasional coverage at Arcadia and Phoenix locations, this position supports clinicians, coordinates front-office functions, and drives strategic initiatives while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher; literacy, communication and math skills.
• Certification as Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or LPN may be required.
• Two years of experience in a physician's office or medical environment with strong organizational skills.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance card and criminal history affidavit may be required for certain behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of non-physician staff and monitors operations for productivity.
• Trains, coaches, evaluates, and directs workflow; schedules staff across offices.
• Oversee reception, scheduling, patient service areas, and records; handles business information systems.
• Acts as liaison between staff and physicians to ensure effective patient service and care.
• Maintains office policies and procedures per physician and facility requirements.
• Manages physical plant and equipment needs; coordinates repairs and supplies.
• Covers front/back office functions; may administer medications as directed and with competencies.
• Provides guidance to optimize daily workflow and navigate multiple computer systems.
