Banner Health seeks a Physician Practice Supervisor to co-supervise day-to-day clinic operations for the FM/IM/PEDS primary care clinic in Glendale, AZ. You will lead, mentor, and evaluate staff while driving quality improvement and operational excellence in alignment with Banner Health policies.

This exempt role supports day-to-day admin and non-physician staff, ensuring seamless coordination between clinical and administrative functions.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• Certification as Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/LPN may be required for some assignments.
• Minimum two years in a physician's office or medical environment with strong communication skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and background check may be required for certain behavioral health settings.

Responsabilités

• Supervise day-to-day activities of non-physician staff to maintain productivity.
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff; schedule across offices.
• Oversee reception, scheduling, patient services, records, and related admin functions.
• Liaise between staff and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service.
• Maintain office policies aligned with physician and regulatory requirements.
• Identify facility maintenance needs and coordinate repairs and supplies.
• Cover front/back office functions and assist with medication administration as needed.
• Navigate multiple computer programs to support clinic operations and workflow.
