Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or 5+ years in an outpatient center.
• Minimum 3 years in a medical or related business.
• Understanding of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare/Medicaid).
• Strong grasp of patient flow in a provider office.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and proficiency with standard software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct front-line clerical and financial staff.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations within budget guidelines.
• Schedule staff and optimize patient care hours for productivity and access.
• Manage cash transactions, co-pays, and deposits with accuracy.
• Ensure service excellence and handle service recovery when needed.
• Maintain office supplies within budget and ensure data accuracy.
