Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks a Manager of Operational Excellence to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, partnering with executive leaders to target quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, and financial performance. You will translate data into actionable recommendations and develop executive scorecards.

You will mentor advisors, support complex system-level projects, and coach teams in structured problem solving to sustain improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of healthcare operations, process improvement, consulting, project management, or operational excellence experience.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration, MBA, MPH, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Experience utilizing statistical analysis software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional operational improvement initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
• Partner with executives to identify opportunities that improve quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, and financial performance.
• Ensure projects deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes.
• Develop executive presentations, scorecards, and reports to communicate results.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new Operational Excellence team members.
• Mentor Operational Excellence Advisors and support complex system-level projects.
