Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks a Manager of Operational Excellence to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, partnering with executive leaders to target quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, and financial performance. You will mentor advisors, support complex system-level projects, and coach teams in structured problem solving to sustain improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of healthcare operations, process improvement, consulting, project management, or operational excellence experience.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration, MBA, MPH, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Experience utilizing statistical analysis software preferred.

Adventist Healthcare's Support Center seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Operational Excellence who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Manager of Operational Excellence, you will:

• Lead high-impact, complex, cross-functional operational improvement initiatives aligned with organizational strategic priorities
• Partner with executive and operational leaders to identify opportunities that improve quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, and financial performance
• Ensure projects deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes
• Develop executive presentations, scorecards, and reports to communicate results.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new Operational Excellence team members
• Manage and mentor Operational Excellence Advisors
• Provide Operational Excellence Advisors support on complex/strategic system-level projects.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for leaders
• Facilitate multidisciplinary teams through structured problem solving
• Utilize data analytics to evaluate operational performance and measure improvement outcomes
• Build organizational capabilities through education, coaching, and mentoring
• Support organizational change initiatives through stakeholder engagement, communication, planning, and training
• Coach leaders and frontline teams on continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques
• Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications include:

• 5-8 years of healthcare operations, process improvement, consulting, project management, or operational excellence experience
• Master's degree in healthcare administration, MBA, MPH, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field preferred
• Demonstrated success leading operational improvement initiatives in a healthcare environment
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with measurable results
• Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience utilizing statistical analysis software preferred

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours per Week: 40 hours/week

Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday

Pay Range:

$105,664.42 - $158,496.00 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
