Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department heads to identify and forecast inventory needs.
• Research and source cost-effective medical and office supplies from approved vendors.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against packing slips.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records using a computerized inventory management system.
• Stock and distribute supplies to designated locations throughout the hospital.
• Implement cost-saving measures to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Manage returns of unused or inaccurately ordered supplies.
• Track and communicate the status of recalled medical supplies.
• Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and procedures related to materials management.
