CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team within the Healthcare Business (HCB). You will handle matter intake, subpoenas, and supporting in-house attorneys on NSA-related cases while coordinating discovery, travel, and settlements with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing
• 2+ years of research experience

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening and closing matters in the Legal Tracker billing system, workflow coordination, and assignment distribution for all incoming legal matters.
• Independently manage third-party subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies, and other requestors to securely provide sensitive data and responsive documents.
• Provide comprehensive support to in-house attorneys in managing cases related to No Surprise Bill Act (NSA) along with other administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate the discovery process by issuing legal holds, managing document and data collections, tracking deadlines and deliverables and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsel to support case development and legal strategy.
• Independently provide administrative support under limited guidance, including coordinating limited travel arrangements, processing expense reimbursements, and preparing and managing check requests associated with settlements and reimbursements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports to support case management and other reporting needs.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects and initiatives as needed.
