CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team to support the Healthcare Business (HCB). The role requires professionalism, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening and closing matters in the Legal Tracker billing system, workflow coordination, and assignment distribution for all incoming legal matters.
• Independently manage subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies and other requestors.
• Provide comprehensive support to in-house attorneys in managing NSA-related cases and other administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate the discovery process by issuing legal holds, managing document collection, tracking deadlines and deliverables, and collaborating with stakeholders and external counsel.
• Provide administrative support, coordinate limited travel, process reimbursements, and manage check requests for settlements and reimbursements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports to support case management and reporting needs.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects and initiatives as needed.]
