CVS Health is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. You will support the in-house attorneys with subpoenas, document management, and case administration related to healthcare matters.

You will manage intake, discovery, preparation of reports, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel. The role requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Health Care benefits and state/federal court systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening and closing matters in the Legal Tracker billing system and workflow coordination.
• Independently manage third-party subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies.
• Provide support to in-house attorneys in managing NSA Act-related cases and other administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate the discovery process by issuing legal holds, managing document/data collections and deadlines.
• Coordinate limited travel arrangements, process expense reimbursements and manage check requests for settlements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports to support case management.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
