Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to support healthcare-related litigation and NSA matters.

You will manage matter intake, subpoenas, discovery, and reporting, while coordinating with internal teams and external counsel. The position offers a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening/closing matters and workflow coordination.
• Independently manage subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA and related administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate discovery: legal holds, data collection, deadlines, and disclosures.
• Provide administrative support: travel, reimbursements, and check requests for settlements.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports for case management.
• Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
