Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Leave and Accommodation Manager I to oversee the full cycle of Family Care, Military, Pregnancy, and Bereavement leaves, plus interactive ADA/ PWFA processes from intake to return-to-work across designated facilities.

You will advise on wage replacement, explain benefit impacts, and coordinate with unions, managers, and HR, requiring strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, CA PDL, and related laws. This is a full-time role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in Human Resources in a benefits, leave management or generalist related position, with a minimum two years' experience in interactive process administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state leave and disability laws, specifically ADAAA, FEHA, PWFA, FMLA, CFRA, CA PDL, NJFLA; experience with CA leaves and accommodations is required.
• Strong knowledge of the interplay between federal and state leave and disability laws.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of absence management integrated workflows, return-to-work strategies, interactive process workflows.
• Strong knowledge of benefits impacts while on leaves of absence.
• Strong knowledge of leave of absence pay integrations with wage replacement benefits.
• Ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities, and effectively follow up in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including effective presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• The Leave and Accommodation Manager I manages the complete cycle of Family Care, Military, Pregnancy, Bereavement, and union/company leaves of absence from initial requests to return to work, and the interactive process for pregnancy and other medical accommodation requests, for their assigned facilities.
• Case management requires extensive use of the phone, email, outlook and case management system.
