Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, Lexington, KY, is seeking a skilled culinary operations professional to support the Executive Chef and Director of Retail Services in a full-time role. You will help manage kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and direct back-of-house staff to deliver high-quality meals and cost-conscious presentations.

Responsibilities include assisting with planning, ordering, inventory, and program rollouts with marketing and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations.
• Knowledge of food cost and how it pertains to a kitchen, product and quality identification.
• Applied food service sanitation certification, SERVSAFE, and/or HACCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Executive Chef to assure compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
• Motivates, trains, develops and directs back of house staff to achieve operation objectives.
• Ensures high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented cost-effectively.
• Assists in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
