Charleston Post Acute Las Vegas Ridge Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dependable cook to join our dietary team in a hospital/long-term care setting. You will prepare meals in large quantities, follow prepared menus, and maintain a sanitary, organized kitchen.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of hospital or long-term care cooking experience, the ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, and obtaining a ServSafe certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cook in a hospital or long term care facility for at least 1 year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Prepare meals and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Follow prepared menus and portion control guides.
• Prepare special diets accurately.
• Record food temperatures for the meals.
• Prepare pureed foods.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and sanitation maintained.
