Job summary

American Senior Communities LLC is seeking a PRN Cook to join our culinary team. You will follow recipes and menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, preparing meals in required quantities while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You will also lead kitchen staff in food preparation, assembly of trays, and proper storage of supplies, ensuring a clean and compliant work area and adherence to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Preferred: Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares food meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares meals in quantities needed to serve residents.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and stocking supplies.
