You will lead kitchen staff during meal prep, manage food storage, and maintain clean work areas in a fast-paced environment. Prior healthcare food service experience is preferred, GED or high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Preferred: Prior institutional/Healthcare service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares foods that meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, nutritious meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff in food preparation, assembly, cleaning and storage.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food per procedures and regulations.
