Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services seeks a hands-on IT Systems Support Specialist to provide frontline support for clinical and administrative systems in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will handle Tier 1/2 workflows, manage endpoints and peripherals, and ensure reliable access to Epic, Meditech, Cerner, and PACS tools.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff, strong troubleshooting, documentation, and security awareness in line with HIPAA and healthcare IT

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous professional IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, software/applications, Microsoft 365, user accounts, basic networking.
• Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Azure/Entra.
• Experience using ticketing or service desk systems and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for clinical and administrative applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printers, servers, and clinical devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, Epic, Meditech, and other clinical applications.
• Manage desktops, WoWs, badge readers, barcode scanners, and peripherals.
• Respond quickly to high-priority clinical/operational issues and maintain uptime.
• Monitor servers, VMs, storage, and SaaS apps; assist with maintenance.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding and user access via AD/Azure.
• Create user guides and documentation; train end users.
• Collaborate with departments/vendors during implementations and upgrades.
