Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska seeks a skilled IT Support Technician to join our growing practice. The role focuses on troubleshooting, hardware and software support, and end-user training for staff across multiple clinics.

Working M-F 7:30am–4:00pm with possible weekends and overtime, you will collaborate with the CIO and IT Director to set up new computers, train new hires, and provide Level 1 tech support for phones, printers, and EMR portal access.

Qualifications

• Two years of IT desktop support experience (healthcare preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of operating systems, software, hardware, networking, and IP/VPN environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up new computers; install or reinstall operating systems and software.
• Set up and train new hires on hardware, software, and equipment.
• Provide Level 1 IT support for phones, computers, peripherals, printers and business software.
• Assist with EMR portal access for employees.
• Document and track computer problems and corrective actions in ticketing system.
