Serenity Hospice Care is seeking a Support System Specialist to provide technical and operational support for field staff and office personnel, ensuring access to essential tools and systems. The role handles troubleshooting, software assistance, and training to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a healthcare setting.

The position focuses on Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Vitalis systems, Microsoft Office applications, and clear communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical, software, administrative, or user support in a healthcare, homecare, or office environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and/or Vitalis preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical processes clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to field staff regarding computer systems, software applications, mobile devices, and access issues.
• Assist employees with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Vitalis systems.
• Support field staff with system navigation, login/access issues, data entry, and basic application troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on the proper use of software and technology systems.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) to support daily admin tasks.
• Assist with email, calendar, document management, spreadsheets, and other Office-related issues.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software, and user-access issues; escalate when needed.
• Maintain records of issues, resolutions, and user requests.
