Job summary

Mission Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented Health Information Systems Analyst to support our clinical applications and maintain EHR systems. This temporary position focuses on ensuring the integrity and optimization of systems that aid home health and hospice operations in Southern California.

Responsibilities include maintaining EHRs, troubleshooting issues, managing user access, and collaborating with clinical and IT teams on system requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare IT, ideally in home health or hospice settings.
• Strong working knowledge of EHR systems such as Homecare Homebase, Epic, or MatrixCare.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and quality metrics in post-acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support core health information systems, including EHRs.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to analyze system requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Manage user access and training for clinical systems.
• Partner with vendors on upgrades and maintenance.
