Job summary

DeepHealth in Oregon seeks a Technical Services Engineer who will be the first point of contact for users, providing expert IT support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across healthcare IT systems.

You will collaborate with IT, Product, and Engineering teams, maintain documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and help improve support processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in healthcare settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven IT support skills with strong customer service experience.
• Solid IT, networking and computer hardware knowledge.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with EMR/clinical software and healthcare IT systems.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes.
• Knowledge of archival and storage media.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytic, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customer communication and issue resolution.
• Lead client projects from kick-off to completion as the implementation resource.
• Provide second-level support for healthcare IT systems and escalated issues.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems promptly.
• Monitor the support queue on a rotating schedule; triage and assign tickets.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain detailed incident logs, solutions, and workflows in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of support processes and knowledge base.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal IT policies.
• Support key customers and maintain positive relationships with updates and guidance.
