Emerging Tech is seeking a Technical Writer / Project Analyst – Journeyman to support the VA EHRM program. This role blends technical documentation, project coordination, reporting, and administrative support for teams working within healthcare IT environments.

The ideal candidate translates complex technical information into clear documents, coordinates meetings, and helps teams stay aligned with program objectives in a hybrid Washington, DC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• 3–5+ years in technical writing, project coordination, or similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of professional technical documentation and meeting notes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, process documentation, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams, SMEs, project managers, and leadership to gather and validate information.
• Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, capture notes, and track action items through to completion.
• Track project deliverables, schedules, risks, issues, and assigned tasks.
• Prepare and update status reports, presentations, briefings, and other project materials.
• Maintain project documentation and repositories (SharePoint) and ensure information is current.
• Support project intake, task tracking, reporting, and responses to leadership or inquiries.
• Document EHR systems, workflows, interfaces, integrations, and implementation activities.
• Research and consolidate technical information into clear, accurate documentation.
