Job summary

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Project Manager to oversee small- to medium-scale healthcare technology projects within the VA. The role requires strong HTM expertise and experience with EHR deployments, coordinating clinical, technical, and administrative teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

The candidate will lead tasks through the full lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery, while integrating emerging technologies to support decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with PMP certification.
• At least five years in a hospital or healthcare HTM environment.
• Experience leading EHR deployments across multiple health care facilities.
• Understanding of federal regulatory requirements including TJC and ISO standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute HTM projects within the VA healthcare system.
• Collaborate with Biomedical Engineering, VA centers, and VISN leadership to define goals and deliverables.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and present detailed project reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Utilize HTM CMMS knowledge to inform planning and tracking.
• Incorporate LLM tools to support documentation and decision-making.
