Job summary

Emerging Tech is seeking a Technical Writer / Project Analyst – Journeyman to support the VA EHR Modernization (EHRM) program. The role blends technical documentation, project coordination, reporting, and administrative support for teams in complex healthcare IT environments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of translating technical information into clear documentation while helping project teams stay on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, Healthcare IT, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in technical writing, project coordination, project analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional technical documentation and meeting note-taking.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Teams, and project management tools such as MS Project or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, process documentation, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, capture notes, and track action items through completion.
• Track project deliverables, schedules, risks, issues, and assigned tasks.
• Prepare and update status reports, presentations, briefings, and other project materials.
