MultiMedical Systems is seeking an experienced Healthcare Technology Manager (Contract) to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of healthcare technology systems in Los Angeles, CA. This role requires strategic thinking and deep healthcare IT expertise.

You will oversee deployment/integration of EHR/EMR systems, collaborate with clinical and admin teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of experience managing healthcare technology systems in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare IT standards, interoperability, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, CPHIMS, or HCISPP are a plus.
• Accountability and customer-service oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment, integration, and maintenance of healthcare technology systems including EHR, EMR, and other clinical applications.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver technology initiatives on time and within scope.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and related regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and policies.
• Stay current with emerging healthcare technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize technology adoption and effectiveness.
