Job summary

Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association is seeking an EMR Implementation & Optimization Manager to lead planning, implementation, and optimization of an electronic medical record and practice management system across their ambulatory network. The role partners with clinical, IT, and administrative stakeholders to define success criteria and ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, information technology, health informatics or a related field.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• PMP, CPHIMS or other relevant project management/healthcare IT certification preferred.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage implementation plans, project timelines and budget.
• Partner with clinical, operational, IT, revenue cycle, compliance and executive stakeholders to define requirements and success criteria.
• Assess current workflows and design future state processes to improve efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate EMR and practice management configuration, testing, data migration and interfaces.
• Develop go-live and cutover plans with staffing and support models.
• Monitor post-go-live performance and coordinate optimization efforts.
• Establish KPIs to evaluate implementation success and system adoption.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy requirements.
• Support future system upgrades and optimization projects.
• Establish and manage post-go-live support structures.

Education
