Job summary

Woodlands Medical Specialists is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the technology and information systems used throughout the practice.

This position will work closely with clinical, administrative, billing, and management teams to troubleshoot system issues, improve workflows, support software applications, and help ensure employees have the technology resources they need to perform their jobs effectively.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in systems or application support, healthcare IT a plus.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support skills.
• Ability to document workflows and processes.
• Ability to work with physicians, clinical staff and admin personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for practice software and information systems.
• Troubleshoot user and application issues and coordinate with outside IT support.
• Work with staff to identify technology and workflow problems.
• Assist with implementation, configuration, testing, and upgrades of software.
• Support EMR/EHR and practice-management systems.
• Assist with data reporting, dashboards, and basic analytics.
• Develop and maintain system and workflow documentation.
• Assist with employee training on software and technology processes.
• Follow HIPAA, privacy, security, and organizational policies.
