Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is hiring a Healthcare Technology Manager (Contract) in Los Angeles, CA. The role leads deployment, optimization, and support of clinical IT systems across the organization.

You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, oversee projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive technology adoption to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Strong EMR/EHR experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience managing healthcare technology systems in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT standards, interoperability, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, CPHIMS, HCISPP are a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Accountability, integrity, customer service and team-building.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment, integration, and maintenance of healthcare technology systems including EHR, EMR, and other clinical applications.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver technology initiatives on time and within scope.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA and HITECH.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and policies.
• Stay current with emerging healthcare technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions as appropriate.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize technology adoption and effectiveness.
