Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking a Desktop Technician for a per diem role at the Bristol Health main campus in Bristol, CT. You will support end-user desktops, laptops, printers, Cisco VoIP phones, and other IT hardware in a healthcare setting, working with the IT Help Desk and clinical staff.

You may be on-call on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving desktop issues, installing and configuring hardware/software, and documenting incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Windows desktops and printers.
• Experience with Active Directory and basic networking.
• Healthcare IT support experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers and related hardware.
• Provide on-site and remote end-user support to staff in a healthcare setting.
• Work with IT Help Desk and clinical staff to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in documenting incidents and maintaining inventory of IT equipment.
• On-call IT support on a rotating basis when required.
