Job summary

Health Care District of Palm Beach County is seeking a Desktop Engineer to deliver hardware and OS support across its facilities. The role includes configuring, deploying, and maintaining PC systems, supporting EMR and revenue cycle IT, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation with IT staff.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT experience, an Associate’s degree in a related field, and relevant certifications such as A+. MCP or MCSA are a plus.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of IT experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience with PC imaging and deployment methodologies.
• Knowledge of business processes and process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade PC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair desktop or laptop failures.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for staff as needed.
• Ensure software licenses are compliant and linked to valid purchases.
• Document incidents and contribute to IT quality improvement processes.
