Job summary

Kane County Human Resource SPE seeks a Data Center Administrator to manage servers, networks, storage and EHR systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance and reliability. Responsibilities include AD admin, GPOs, security audits, and training material creation.

You will lead infrastructure projects, develop policies, and participate in on-call support, with on-premises work and some remote duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or CS.
• 3+ years IT infrastructure experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, CISM) are a plus.
• Experience with Cerner or HL7 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for infrastructure and EHR issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, storage, and EHR systems.
• Administer Active Directory, user/group management, security permissions, and GPOs.
• Develop policies, training materials, SOPs for IT infrastructure.
• Lead projects and participate in on-call rotations.
