Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to manage receiving and distribution of supplies within the facility. The role includes maintaining Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock and conducting regular physical inventories of POU areas.

You will regularly receive, key into the SMART system, and distribute items to appropriate departments, while ensuring barcodes and QA checks are in place to avoid stockouts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED, preferred experience in stock or materials handling.
• Hospital supply experience preferred.
• Stockroom or storeroom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies accurately and on time.
• Transport and deliver drugs and drug-containing devices per role scope.
• Maintain Min/Max levels for safety stock and verify daily.
• Receive deliveries and key into SMART system for department delivery.
• Process cross-docked items into SMART as appropriate.
• Count POUs and rotate stock to prevent outdated items.
• Ensure barcodes are present on POU items and conduct QA checks.
• Address POU critical points and stock-out situations promptly.
